An Introduction
Welcome to
the "CLL Website Awards" Program!
The date and time are:
"Language is a labyrinth of paths. You approach from one side and know your way about;
you approach the same place from another side and no longer know your way about."
Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889-1951)
In honor of the Internet's 20th anniversary (2003-01-01, see an article by Ronda Hauben on the Resources-page), I decided to release my own Award Program with an intention of sharing, on my behalf, recognition and encouragement. It is my hope through this effort to offer knowledge, education and information useful to the Internet and Award Communities. This Award Program concept and introduction was launched on the 9th of February 2003.
Award Graphics
Honoring the legacy of the late artist and designer,
award images (the "Oracle" set, on the left column) are designed and provided
by James Binegar (1970-07-20 - 2005-11-16).
For further information about James Binegar, please refer to the RSS Feed of this site: below left, Alt-X (XML-version) or Alt-H (HTML-version).
The (sample) graphics of award images are represented on the left. Dimensions of each award are 120x150 pixels and they are in size between 7K-9K. (By moving the mouse over images, you are able to see the whole picture).

The webmaster of "Conceptanalysis, Language and Logic"-site is rewarding websites for outstanding excellence with one of the 4-level award (for further details, see Criteria and Scoring):
- Gold: Achieved by websites fulfilling all of the Basic and Specific Criteria of this AP which indicates outstanding excellence of webdesign.
- Silver: Achieved by websites fulfilling all the Criteria of this AP and only few details of Specific Criteria are lacking.
- Bronze: Achieved by websites fulfilling all the Criteria of this AP, but some details needing still fine-tuning.
- Merit: Achieved by websites having much ingredients for excellence, showing good effort but still some finishing touch and tidying remains.

A couple of things before you start your application:
If you are the winner of my one-level award, please read the notice on the right column!
Please, read first carefully at least "Purpose", "Ethics", "Disqualification" and "Criteria" of this Award Program.
If, for one reason or other, you don't become a winner of my award, it does not mean that your site isn't good enough. It just does not fit into the criteria of this Award Program this time.
Good luck with your application!
